With our continued investment in new technologies and processes we have recently completed the expansion and upgrade of our product mixing facilities in our Czech Republic facility.
The new mixing Bay opened in April 2014 with completion of all works in June 2014. The new bay has allowed us to redesign the existing facility to provide a more "fluid" production and manufacturing environment, this had to be implemented as sales growth within the facility over the past 5 years had resulted in new equipment and processing areas being accommodated in a production area designed when the facility produced lower volumes.
The expansion has allowed CRL Czech to increase production volumes to accommodate new sales volumes. One of the major advantages of the expansion has been the generation of valuable production space for the precast shaped products, which, in due course will provide improved efficiencies in the production process.
